Suzanne was raised in the home of a pastor and accepted Christ as her Saviour at a young age. She has stayed faithful to that commitment throughout many challenges in life and is actively exploring her faith in a new and profound way.

Suzanne spent the first 12 years of her working life as an office administrator but finally pursued her lifelong passion to teach by returning to university in 2000. After graduating with an Honours BA in English Language/Literature from UWO, and then completing her B.Ed. at Althouse, Suzanne worked for the Thames Valley District School Board for 4 years, both as an occasional teacher and as a permanent teacher at Masonville Public School.

Choosing to start a new adventure with her family, Suzanne relocated to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 2008; she taught at Cornerstone Christian School in Moose Jaw for the next seven years. Her teaching experiences were diverse at Cornerstone – she taught Grades 1, 4, 5, 6, 8 as well as spending a couple of years as the Student Support Teacher and a couple of years implementing and facilitating the high school credit Christian Ethics courses online. Teaching at a Christian school was a dream come true for Suzanne as she was able to guide each student in a well-rounded education both academically and spiritually.

Returning to London in 2015 due to family needs, Suzanne taught at Fanshawe and as an occasional teacher with TVDSB. She has been the Grade 4 teacher at LCA since September, 2016 and absolutely LOVES her job!  She is very excited to spend each year helping each student become all that God has for them to be!
