Ken attended Trinity College School in Port Hope, Ontario between 1987 and 1994 while his parents were living overseas. Trinity is an Anglican based school and he was Baptized and Confirmed in the school chapel in 1988 having discovered a love for God and the importance of God in his life. In high school, Ken enjoyed football, hockey and especially rugby; he was a member of two international rugby teams. He was also blessed to spend 6 months on exchange in 1990 living in France with a family and attending the local school. Trinity invited Ken back to the school in 1996 and 1997 to volunteer as a junior faculty member.
Ken always enjoyed working with children and spent four summers at Northwood Camp in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Northwood Camp is an Easter Seal Society camp for children with varying degrees of disabilities.
Ken returned to The University of Windsor to obtain his Bachelor of Education in the Primary/Junior Division, after several unfulfilling years in business, to follow God's direction as an educator. The Lord provided for his family in countless ways as the effects of leaving the workforce were not felt. God provided everything that was needed and directed Ken to the London Christian Academy. He is hoping to spread the Christian faith to students using the skills that he has acquired to better prepare them for the future.
Ken and his wife Carolyn, along with their daughters Elizabeth, Sarah, and Madelyn reside in Komoka and are members of North Park Community Church. They are currently involved in the Long Term Missions Team, Global Health Team and the church Sunday School program.
Ken has been teaching at LCA since 2003.
