Danielle was brought up in a Christian home and was given the privilege of attending the Christian Academy of Western Ontario from kindergarten through to high school. She became a Christ follower at a young age due to the loving influence of her parents and also the influence of caring teachers and church family. It was within this environment that Danielle realized a desire to follow God’s plan for her life. This desire was fueled by countless opportunities in church and in school to be involved in ministry teams, teaching younger children, and experiencing difficult cultures and ministry through missions trips.
After high school Danielle attended Heritage College and Seminary, and it was there that she realized that God’s plan for her life was to teach. This purpose became real to Danielle as she graduated from Heritage and began teaching at Crestwicke Christian Academy in Guelph. Danielle knew without a doubt that she loved all aspects of teaching, especially at a Christian school. It is her goal to see children come to know their Creator. Her passion for teaching spurred Danielle to return to the University of Western Ontario in June 2006 to earn a B.A. in history and an Ontario Teacher’s Certificate to better facilitate her gift.
Danielle began teaching at London Christian Academy in 2009, primarily as the grade 7 homeroom teacher and social studies rotary. During the 2013-2014 school year, she had the privilege of teaching high school social studies at the International Christian School of Budapest. Danielle is glad to be back teaching again at London Christian Academy and being a part of Academy family.
