    What's in a Name?

    September 18, 2015
    What we know about David can be seen in his actions and his thoughts.  David's early years will have molded his character and his world view.  What do you think of David?  If someone asked you to describe him, how would you?  What does he look like?  What does he act like?

    So for through the book we have seen David go through a lot. I think that a boy who is 12 years old shouldn't be put through such experiences. I agree with callum when he said that David had a trait of perseverance;he had a goal and that was to survive and get to safety. David is a very strong boy who is very determined and smart and i think he wont have any problems surviving

    David is a 12 year old boy who has just escaped a labour camp. I think he is around 5"0 (because I am 4"11 and I am almost 12 years old). In the book it says David fit through a small hole, so I think he is slim. I also think he is very strong, because working in a labour camp for 12 years would probably make you strong. He is also very brave, I mean how many people would try to escape a labour camp... at the age of 12... and succeed, not a lot.

Also David has a grudge against the man because he keeps on thinking that everything is a trap because he thinks they are always going to get him. Me to he looks like a normal 12 yr old boy with brown hair,and a big imagination because didn't want to think at one point. He's also a little brave to put his own life in danger for freedom. He would be nice to because he tried to make friends with the sailor on the boat. And thats what I think David is like.
