    Who is David?...Round Two!

    October 1, 2015
David is a complex character.  We can look at his journey through the book and see what he thinks, feels, and learns.  Using your edited paragraphs, please tell me what are some things that you have learned about David up to chapter 4?

David  is a middle aged boy who is 12 years old and when he was younger he went to labor camp. Unfortunately he lost his parents because they left when he was young. One day one kind man in camp helped him leave he was on his way to a safe place were he could be free. So far David in the story I think David is a self confident boy, very independent and courageous. I also think he is very smart and also caring towards others. David is courageous and caring because in chapter 4, David saw kids playing and he wanted to stay clear of the kids. When he was sleeping he heard crying and screaming and when he woke up he saw the boys crying and a shed was on fire and their sister was in there. David felt sorry for the girl so he ran inside the shed and saved the girl. That is how I think David is like thank you for reading!!!!!!!!

David is a 12-year old boy who has lived in a labor camp in Eastern Europe. David is always alone expect for the different people who helped him along the way. He is mischievous, dirty, sneaky, brave and smart. He also helped save a little girl from a fire. So David really is a complex character.

I think David is maybe 12 or 13becaue he wasn's old enough to wor. I also think David is ver skinny becaus h probably didn't ge fed very much at the camp and he could fit between the boxes on the in the tightly packed truck. Also I think David is braave because he saved Maria from the burning shed and that takes bravery. Another attribute of David is tha he is very acknoledgable because he notices all the beauty in the world.

I think that David is more of a quiet person and doesn't like to talk too much. I also think that he's calm and he seems really smart. For David's appearance I think that he is more slim but not skinny. David's hair is probably messy and he seems obedient. David loves to serve God and so far by what I've read seems like he will do almost anything to serve Him. David also loves beauty around him. Overall he seems like a nice young boy with a great personality.

The book we are reading in class is about a 12 year old boy named David, who is truly extraordinary. One thing that makes him so extraordinary is how brave he is. David escapes a labour camp, survives, and does nice things for people on his way to freedom. One of his most extraordinary acts was rescuing Maria, a little girl, from a fire. He also is kind, courageous, a little sneaky, and very fit. David climbed the camps walls, ran or walked for miles, and swam into Italy's shore when he was found on the boat. Some of his physical features include sharp eyes, good hearing, and the ability to speak different languages. These are just a few of David's many physical traits and characteristics.

In class we are reading a book called "I am David". David is a 12 year old boy who has been in a labour camp all his life. Since being in a labour camp makes you work hard, I think David is very strong. The book says David fit through a small hole, so I think David is very slim. I don't know how tall David is but I do know he is 12 years old. Since I am almost 12 and I am 4"11 I think David is 5"0. In conclusion I think David is a 5"0, slim, strong character with a great personality.
